Explanation
Resealable bottle or jug, usually 1 to 2 litres (about 67.6 fl oz) (about 32 to 64 fl oz), filled with fresh beer straight from the tap to take home. A growler is best drunk within a few days, otherwise the beer loses carbonation and freshness.
