Light lager
Term from the Brauwerkstatt brewing glossary, category “Beer styles”.
Explanation
Very pale, light lagers with little bitterness that are drunk ice-cold. Many are brewed with rice or corn, which makes them particularly lean. They include American light lager and many mass-market beers from the Americas and Asia. Typical: 2.8–5.3 % ABV, 8–18 IBU.
